The BSS Group plc (the ‘Group’), a market leading distributor to specialist trades, announces that Alan Ball, Managing Director, PTS, has left the Group today to pursue other interests. His responsibilities for running the PTS business will be assumed by Gavin Slark, BSS’ Group Chief Executive, until further notice.


The Board would like to thank Alan for his contribution to the Group over the past four years and wish him well for the future.


As stated in the Group's pre-close trading update on 25 September 2009, BSS remains well positioned to meet the challenges of a changing market place and continues to show encouraging revenue resilience in its markets.
